These Nutella cookies are indulgent and easy to make. The combination of soft dough and Nutella spread, topped with chocolate chips, creates a perfect dessert or snack.
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter (at room temperature)
- 200 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 350 g flour
- 300 g chocolate chips
- For the topping:
- 300 g Nutella
Instructions:
Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the Eggs and Mix: Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla sugar.
Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring to combine.
Add the Chocolate Chips: Once the dough is formed, fold in 200 g of the chocolate chips. The dough will be a little sticky, so be sure to wet your hands with flour to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Baking Pan: Line the bottom of a 26 cm baking pan with parchment paper. Press one-third of the dough into the bottom of the pan, making sure to spread it evenly and up the sides of the pan to about 2 cm.
Spread the Nutella: Spread a layer of Nutella evenly over the dough, then crumble the remaining dough on top. Sprinkle the remaining 100 g of chocolate chips on top.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake the cookies for 25 minutes. Note: Adjust the baking time depending on your oven. In my oven, I baked them at 180°C for about 35 minutes.
Cool and Enjoy: Allow the cookies to cool slightly before removing them from the pan. Let them cool completely and enjoy the delicious Nutella-filled treat!
These cookies are soft and rich, with the Nutella adding a creamy texture and the chocolate chips bringing extra sweetness and crunch. Perfect for any Nutella lover!
