This recipe was inspired by a tip from a German group, and it’s the fastest I’ve ever made these pastries!
Ingredients:
- 280 g flour
- 210 g butter or margarine
- 70 g powdered sugar
- 100 g finely ground peeled almonds
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients together to form a dough.
- Chill the dough briefly in the refrigerator.
- Shape the dough into your desired form for the vanilice (small round or any other shape you prefer).
- Preheat the oven to 170°C and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. They should not brown.
- While still warm, dust with a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
For an even coating, you can mix the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar together, then sift it over the vanilice for a uniform dusting. This method ensures they look as perfect as possible!
